A Little Prince exhibition in Hanoi
An exhibition under the theme of “Le Petit Prince” (The Little Prince), one of the most beloved children’s stories of all time, will be organized in Vietnam’s capital Hanoi next month.
The month-long event, titled “Le Petit Prince’s Journey,” will feature scans of original manuscript pages produced by the book’s author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, selections of artistic photographs by Vincent Nguyen of locations around the world traveled by Saint-Exupéry, and a rare color film of Saint-Exupéry in Canada in 1942 when he worked on “Le Petit Prince.”
First published in 1943, “Le Petit Prince” is a novel and the most famous work of the French aristocrat, writer, poet and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Since its first publication, the novel has been adapted to numerous art forms and media, including audio recordings, radio plays, live stage, film screen, television, ballet, and operatic works.
“Le Petit Prince’s Journey” will start from the Children’s Day on June 1 to 30 at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi at 15 Ngo Quyen Street in Hoan Kiem District.
