From 13 February to 13 March 2009, the Institut Français (French cultural institute) in Casablanca will be paying tribute to Saint-Exupéry and The Little Prince. The celebration marks the occasion of the publication of The Little Prince in Darija by publishers Aïni Bennaï at the Casablanca International Book Fair from 13 to 22 February, and also the 90th anniversary of the first air link between France and Morocco, from Toulouse to Rabat via Casablanca, on 9 March 1919. With the support of the Succession Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Editions Gallimard, the French Embassy in Morocco and the Institut Français in Casablanca are staging events, lectures, stage shows, exhibitions and conferences around the theme of Saint-Exupéry and The Little Prince.
