| The publishing house Haere Po is producing a new edition of The Little Prince in Tahitian. It has been translated by John Martin of the Tahitian Academy with the title Te tamaiti ari’I iti. The translator has provided a brief colophon in which he speaks of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s life and explains the choices he made when translating the book from the French. If you are attracted by the various languages of French Polynesia, you may be interested to know that in September Robert Koenig will be publishing a version of The Little Prince in Marquesan.
