Fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac presented his 2011 spring collection at Paris Fashion Week in the very heart of Paris, on the banks of the Seine. The theme of this year’s show was aviation and the tropics so, naturally enough, many of the creations to appear on the catwalk were inspired by Saint-Exupéry and the Little Prince. They included kaftans printed with the cover from “Night Flight” and shirts featuring the face of the Little Prince. Here are some pictures from the show.
All profits from sales of these creations will go to the Fondation Antoine de Saint-Exupery for youth. |
