Tomorrow, the 26th edition of the Saint-Exupéry Award will reward the best youth books of the year at an awards ceremony. After blowing his twenty-five candles last year, the Award inaugurates a new edition on October 15. Faithful to its values, it will reward a youth literature that extols the qualities of daring, courage, solidarity and wisdom, dear to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The adult comittee will choose a selection of the best album, best novel and best French work (future selection) and a jury of children will attribute the final prizes.Since 1987, the Saint-Exupéry Prize recognizes books that youngsters love and that love youth: album and French novels and the Francophonie selection.
